Are you prepared if disaster hits? Do you have a survival plan? It’s important to be ready for emergencies. I know people who have months of food stored up, cash tucked away, and enough medication to last for months.
We could spend precious time and energy getting everything together in case something terrible happens, later to find out we forgot something important or we didn’t tuck enough away.
There is only one way, however, to guarantee we have safe shelter and enough to get us through any trouble.
…the thing I seek most — is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,…For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. (Psalm 27:4–5, NLT)
God is our only safe harbor. Jesus is our only hope for salvation. Ask Him into your heart today. It may soon be too late.
