THOUGHTS FOR THE NEW YEAR
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (Isaiah 43:18–19, NIV)
God commands we forget former things and not dwell on yesterday. History is full of disaster, war, deception, abuse, disease, and death. But today is a new day.
God is doing something new, starting today.
It starts small, like a stirring. Can you imagine it? God planted His seed this morning. It offers new life capable of amazing transformation. With diligence and faith, it will grow and weed out all desolation. It’s available to whosoever will believe.
Will you believe?
